The kit looked like this when I first received it. A very good kit and one of Matt's best.

The first thing was to make the Z cut and cut the tail cone and bow.

The seam gets indexed and gapped with filler. This hull had sat for many years and had a bad warp. It was corrected using Evercoat Metal glaze.

Cutting out of the drains using a dremel tool to start and finishing it off with small files and sand paper.

This hull was very well scribed with scale details but some of them always get sanded away in the seaming process. I made templates to scribe back some of this detail.

 Installing the WTC mounts and lining up the prop shaft.
